The Mammoet Heavy Lift Terminal offers its clients by means of these comprehensive services a concept which is unique in the port of Rotterdam.
An additional service is the storage and transhipment of goods for our clients. Mammoet has two terminals in the Netherlands: the Heavy Lift Terminal in the Rotterdam port area and the Multi Purpose Terminal in Westdorpe, near Terneuzen. The strength of the Mammoet terminals is not only a result of the commitment of qualified personnel that works in accordance with the highest safety and quality standards, but also of the modern, well maintained and certified material and the favorable location. Furthermore, Mammoet’s internal engineering department is able to provide engineered lifts. Providing a 24-hour service the company is in an ideal position to handle your project or heavy load efficiently and safely.
The 85,000-m2 Mammoet heavy-lift terminal is situated at a unique location in Schiedam, on the New Waterway in the heart of the Rotterdam harbours and close to the North Sea. Thanks to the strategic position of this 8.5- hectare site, which includes a 10,000-m2 quayside and a harbour crane with a 250-tonne lifting capacity, Mammoet is able to store all kinds of cargo, such as generators, transformers, reactors, steel constructions, etc. Other services can also be handled on request.

- Lifting capacity: 250 mT
- Harbour crane auxiliary hoist has a lifting capacity of 45 mT.
- The harbour crane can be operated either from the cabin or by remote control from the quayside.
