Licensing
Mammoet scale models are made under license of the Mammoet Company that also owns the Mammoet trademark. The scale models are fully based on Mammoet’s equipment into every detail. Mammoet owns and produces in co-operation with manufacturers like Demag, Liebherr, Volvo, M.A.N. or Scania specialized equipment. Those are the companies that hold O.E.M. licenses so in many cases the Mammoet scale models are derivatives of existing scale models. The Mammoet scale models are usually limited editions and come in Mammoet style boxes.
Growing collection
The Mammoet collection has rapidly grown and several projects are on their way. 1:50 will stay a main scale but also the 1:87 collection will see new models. There is quite a choice in Mercedes Actros trucks and it is generally the current Mammoet fleet that is resembled by the model collection. However for future models there is serious interest to expand into older equipment as well.
