Load-outs/load-ins and site moves

Mammoet supplies a comprehensive load-out package including preparation of load-out manuals, supply of self-propelled modular trailers, ballasting, mooring and monitoring equipment. The load-out manuals describe the operations in full detail and all safety-related aspects will always be put to the client for agreement well in advance.

With the world's largest fleet of self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs), Mammoet is able to serve her clients anywhere and at any time. SPMT’s are delivered by conventional transport as modules of 4 or 6 axles and are quickly connected on site to form transporters of the required size & capacity. Each axle can turn through 360º, the required extent being determined by a central computer for the movement to be made. This allows a variety of unconventional possibilities including crab + side ways movement; even carousel moves are possible. The whole arrangement is operated by a single engineer using a remote control.

The SPMTs combine fast operational speed with the highest manoeuvrability, and require a minimum of space for operation.
