With the world's largest fleet of SPMTs, Mammoet is able to serve her customers anywhere and at any time. SPMTs are delivered by conventional transport as modules of 4 or 6 axles and are quickly connected on site to form transporters of the required size & capacity. Each axle can turn through 360º, the required extent being determined by a central computer for the movement to be made. This allows a variety of unconventional possibilities including crab + side ways movement; even carousel moves are possible. The whole arrangement is operated by a single engineer using a remote control.
The SPMTs combine fast operational speed with the highest manoeuvrability and require a minimum of space for operation.
