Mammoet employees and clients gathered at the new Rosharon office on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 3 pm for a ribbon cutting ceremony. The Angleton Chamber of Commerce (ACC) Ambassador Club and Board of Directors proclaimed Mammoet as the “Business of the Day” and presented the 2012 ACC membership plaque.
Mammoet has been a member of the ACC for over 30 years and has partnered with ACC in many events throughout the year, such as the Texas Heritage Scholarship, Heritage Banquet, and the Annual Golf Tournament. Mammoet also sponsors ACC ads on local maps, community calendars and many other community activities.
Jan Kleijn, CEO of Mammoet travelled from Holland to be present for the ceremony and conveyed his satisfaction and pride with the new office building. Current President and CEO of Mammoet USA, Richard Miller spoke followed by Albert Slikker, who was instrumental in opening the original office in Rosharon. Mr. Slikker was given the honor of cutting the ribbon.
