Job description

The Crane Rigger:

  • Determines proper method of lifting equipment for each assigned project 
  • Conducts basic loading of heavy lift projects by rigging Crane equipment. Ensures proper use of each equipment method 
  • Ensures heavy lift equipment is well maintained. Coordinates all needed maintenance of company equipment and maintains all maintenance records
  • Operations and maintains forklifts to move equipment to and from work areas
  • Properly loads trucks and trailers for assigned projects
  • Provides daily work sheets for each project
  • Other duties as assigned by Crane Supervisor or Crane Coordinator

Crane Department Manager, Operations Manager (Branch) or Crane Supervisor

Key skills

Education & experience

  • 1-3 years in Heavy Lift / Heavy Transport 
  • 1-3 years of Crane equipment experience or equivalent highly desired
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical schematics and basic repairs highly desired
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Mammoet T&DP requirement, as specified
  • Mammoet Crane Training Course (Theoretical)
