Job descriptionThe Maintenance Planner will focus on ensuring equipment availability is optimal by working closely with the Maintenance Manager in scheduling and planning equipment maintenance and repairs. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for the below: Co-coordinating sub-contractors Planning and scheduling mechanics, monitoring work hours/fatigue, allocating work hours to work orders Parts sourcing and ordering. Searching for the best value, negotiating with suppliers for a better price, deal direct with the suppliers. Cost allocation working to a Budget Create WO and PO(understand the SAP WO process) Main roads compliance ISO compliance Maintenance planning to fit in with operational schedule (liaising with operations) Managing the fuel, oil and lubes
