History

Mammoet Canada Eastern

Mammoet Canada Eastern Ltd. is a division of Mammoet BV in the Netherlands, and is the culmination of several merged entities with roots in the industry. Engineered Transportation and Rigging Company (ETARCO), a Canadian heavy transport company which was established in March of 1991 in Cambridge, Ontario, partnered Van Seumeren B.V. on several high profile projects in western Canada in the late 1990s. The Van Seumeren Group purchased the majority interest in ETARCO in 1998 and acquired Mammoet two years later.

The company continued under the name ETARCO Mammoet Eastern Ltd. until December 31, 2001 when it changed its name to Mammoet Canada Eastern Ltd. (MCE). The mixture of Canadian and Dutch cultures has enabled Mammoet’s Canadian subsidiaries to evolve into Canada’s premier company specializing in engineered heavy transportation and lifting services, with operations across Canada and the USA.

Mammoet Canada Western
