After 30 years with Mammoet, including 15 years serving in leadership roles including both CEO and COO, Jan Kleijn will leave Mammoet on 1 February 2027.
Jan's journey is a remarkable example of what is possible at Mammoet. Starting in operations and logistics, he grew through a variety of leadership roles to become its first employee CEO and later COO.
Along the way, he helped shape Mammoet into the global leader in heavy lifting and transport that it is today.
Since 2017, Jan has served Mammoet as its COO, helping to position Mammoet as the undisputed leader in global heavy lifting and transport: financially strong, globally diversified and trusted to deliver.
What has always stood out is Jan's commitment to people. He has consistently invested in developing talent, strengthening working cultures, and creating opportunities for others to grow.
His decision to hand over responsibilities to a new generation of leaders reflects the same long-term mindset that has characterized his entire career.
