Fortescue Metals Group, the owner and operator of the Chichester Mining Hub, has appointed Mammoet to support transportation and lifting services during their maintenance and shutdown activities.

Mammoet was chosen to ensure those activities can be performed within schedule and budget.

The Chichester Hub is located in the heart of the Pilbara region in Australia and produces approximately 100 million tonnes per annum of iron ore. Mammoet mobilized its first equipment and personnel in March 2017.
