Description

A gantry is a combination of two or more legs (towers) and an overhead beam or girder construction. To the overhead beam a lifting device (either a winch or a strand jack) is connected. Gantries can be constructed to meet the specific requirements of the location. As they can only lift vertically, versatility is limited and they need to be built over the foundation. If movement of the load is required the complete gantry system and load can be slid on tracks from one position to the other. The tower gantry can be configured to lift loads from 500 – 4,000 tons.
