Recognition highlights Mammoet’s ongoing commitment to workplace safety and innovation.

Mammoet Australia, a branch of the global leader in heavy lifting and transport, is proud to announce its nomination as a finalist in the prestigious 2024 National Safety Awards of Excellence, organised and hosted by the NSCA Foundation. This recognition underscores Mammoet's dedication to upholding the highest safety standards while fostering a culture of safety across all operations.

The National Safety Awards, renowned for honoring organizations that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to workplace safety, are a benchmark for excellence in the industry. Mammoet’s nomination reflects the company's proactive approach, which includes comprehensive safety training programs, regular safety audits, and the active involvement of employees at all levels in maintaining a safe working environment.

Mammoet’s innovative Move3D software played a key role in securing this recognition. Move3D, a 3D visualization tool designed for complex project planning, enhances safety by enabling detailed visualizations and risk mitigation strategies before heavy lifting and transport operations commence. The tool was pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of Mammoet's recent Ball Mill replacement project at an alumina refinery in Australia.

“We are proud to be recognized as a finalist in the 2024 National Safety Awards of Excellence,” said Ryan Binedell, Safety Manager at Mammoet Australia. “This nomination is a testament to our team's commitment to safety, innovation, and operational excellence."

The winners of the 2024 National Safety Awards of Excellence will be announced at the awards ceremony on October 31st, 2024, at Sydney Town Hall. Mammoet eagerly anticipates the outcome and looks forward to sharing safety insights and connecting with like-minded professionals at the event.
