Footwear takes safety to the next level.
Five years after the successful introduction of their joint shoe collection, Mammoet and Bata Industrials are expanding their collaboration with a new model: the Sling. This innovative safety shoe has been developed for, and tested by, professionals. The shoe combines top-class protection with a striking design and maximum comfort.
With the Sling, Mammoet and Bata once again emphasize their common mission: to supply high-quality safety shoes that meet the toughest requirements of the field. Two globally respected brands: Mammoet, specialist in heavy transport and hoisting; and Bata Industrials, leader in sustainable and innovative safety shoes, join forces to provide optimal support to professionals all over the world.
"The Sling builds on everything we've learned over the past five years," said Paul Gregoire, Merchandise Director at Mammoet. 'We continuously listen to feedback from our people in the field. The result is a shoe that is lighter, more comfortable and more stylish than ever”.

That is not an empty promise. As with previous models, the Sling has been extensively tested by Mammoet professionals under real working conditions. Every sole, seam and closure was evaluated for performance, durability and safety.
The Sling is not only functional, but also a visual eye-catcher. With the recognizable red and black Mammoet design and fluorescent accents, the boot stands out, without compromising on technical performance.
The sole is based on the proven Bata Enduro PU outsole with Walkline® 3.0 technology, which ensures a natural foot movement and excellent comfort. Thanks to the segment sole, the shoe remains stable, while the improved Tunnel System® provides extra shock absorption, energy return and grip.

The upper, made of wear-resistant microfiber and the BOA® Fit System, make The Sling easily adjustable and suitable for long working days in logistics and light industry.
For Bata Industrials, the Sling is a logical continuation of the existing collaboration with Mammoet.
Emérence van Daalen, Global Marketing & Product Director at Bata Industrials:
"This shoe represents the next step in our joint journey. We combine high-quality materials, smart technology and an uncompromising focus on safety and ergonomics. The Sling adapts to the user, not the other way around”.
The Sling will be available in Europe from May 2025. What started as a shoe for Mammoet employees is now available to any professional who has high demands on their footwear and wants to look good in the workplace.
"The Sling is more than a new model," concludes Gregoire. "It is an example of what is possible when two market leaders continue to innovate together. Together we go to the extreme — one step further with The Sling.'
